Jareth

Quickie ink sketch of Jareth, the Goblin King. Successfully introduced the sproglet to Labyrinth yesterday. Apparently the initial reception to the film plunged Jim Henson into a lengthy depression, which is just heartbreaking. I hope he lived long enough to see something of how its reputation would grow, and how beloved it became.

Also, apparently I am the only heterosexual woman in the world who watched this film as a child and did not fixate on the contents of David Bowie's tights.
